Crafty Fox Market - Saturday 12th April 2014

I will be at the Crafty Fox Market on Saturday 12th April from 12pm - 5pm.

On sale will be new billfold wallets, card holders, belts and key rings all in the beautiful Italian Veg Tanned leather in black and brown.

Stoke Newington Christmas Market

After a long lay off due to illness i'll be back at the Stoke Newington Christmas Market on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th December.

Due to unforeseen circumstances I wont be at Netil Market in August but will be back in September.  I'll update with dates soon.

Leather Key Fobs

New Leather Key Fobs with a trigger hook.  The leather loop undoes so it is able to wrap around a belt loop for example.  Leather is Italian Veg Tanned Shoulder.

Networking event - Cambridge Satchel Company

I attended a great networking event which Maggie Semple Ltd hosted on Thursday 20th June.  Julie Deane founder of the very successful Cambridge Satchel Company spoke about her career journey and I gained further insight to the company.  It was really interesting to hear and great to meet her in person afterwards!

New products in development

Being at Netil Market has been an invaluable source of research and finding out what it is that customers want.  Having a card holder where you can fit a number of cards and notes is one of the key products that customers want.  In development at the moment is a card holder with a gusset/larger pocket in which to fit the numerous cards that people now have.

This will be ready in time for me returning to Netil Market at the end of June.

After a successful selling period at Netil Market during May I hope to return on the last Saturday in June and make it a bi-weekly slot.  Come down and visit me, there will be new products on offer including updates to the card holders and key holders / rings.

Netil Market

I was at Netil Market (Westgate Street, E8) on Saturday 4th May and the first week went well!  I'll be there for the next three Saturday's in May (11th, 18th and 25th May) selling belts and wallets primarily. If you have new product ideas or there is something you would like but can't please come down and ask me.

Leather Box and Case Making course @ Cumbria School of Saddlery

I went to the Cumbria School of Saddlery www.saddlerycourses.com in April to learn the traditional skills of leather box and case making.  It was a 3 day intensive course but I loved every minute of it and have come away with invaluable skills all taught by a master saddler!  Learning in a converted cow shed over looking the Lake District makes it even more worthwhile.
